Consultations

If the name you need is not one I hold, tell me. I will try to acquire it at my own risk, and if I get it I will offer it to you at a price. I am the dealer, not your agent.

How a commission works

You name the target

You tell me the exact name you want and what you would pay to own it. This is one name, not a brief for a search.

I try to acquire it

I approach whoever holds it and buy it if I can, on my own account and at my own risk. Nothing is owed and no money changes hands at this stage.

I offer it to you

If I get the name, I offer it to you at a stated price. Take it or leave it. If you pass, it goes into the catalogue; if I cannot get it, that is the end of it and you owe nothing.

Price and terms

There is no fee. If I acquire a name for you, I own it, and I sell it to you at a price I state.

The price includes the transfer to your registrar and the full record: the purchase, the escrow release, and the ownership history I hold. Payment runs through escrow provider.

It does not include registrar fees, trademark registration, or legal advice on your use of the name. I will tell you when you need any of those.

Name the target

One name, exactly as you would register it.

Enough for me to judge whether the name is gettable and what it is likely to cost.

A range is fine. It tells me whether the search is worth starting.
